Barbie is Back

At a very very early hour of the morning (like before the sun came up), Morgan woke Mom up by saying, “Barbie is back. Buddy is in love with her.” We had already located Buddy after his most recent adventure. Looks like he took up some racing with a local. Upon further examination we learned that it wasn’t just any local…it was Ken!

Artistic Elf

We had NO idea that Buddy was so talented! He drew us pictures on our easels last night.

Some of our toys look alike, like our easels. We’ve found clever ways to “claim” our individual toys, and it’s a code that we established and taught to Mom and Dad. Because we can’t read yet, it took us a minute to figure out which easel belonged to which kid. After a closer look, we sorted it all out. Mom thought the exchange below was funny. Enjoy!

Candy Land

This morning we found Buddy with his good friend Barbie and a couple of new pals playing a serious game of Candy Land. They also got into our snacks, but you’ll see in the video below that we finished up what they left behind. Wouldn’t want anything to go to waste (or waist in Barbie’s case)!

Barbie snacked on grapes (so healthy!). Buddy enjoyed some of GiGi’s cookies (thanks to Buddy, we’re running low…please send more). Thing ate some Captain America fruit snacks, and Jessie was REALLY excited about the Dora fruit snacks.

Buddy has a Sweet Tooth

This morning, Morgan exclaimed, “Buddy got into the gingerbread house!” And Mason said, “and he’s sitting on the sugar!” After we got past Buddy’s disregard for our sweets and kitchen items, we also were grateful he didn’t eat ALL of the gingerbread house. He saved some for us. That was nice! He must have needed a little snack after the long trip to the North Pole.

He drew me a Christmas tree!

We looked high and low for Buddy this morning. Mason says he told him, “no more wild animal parties, Buddy.” Looks like he took Mason’s advice and settled in for some etch-a-sketch on the couch after his return from the North Pole last night. Even Buddy can’t party all the time. Mom and Dad are trying to capture some of our discoveries this season. Check out this morning’s hunt for Buddy in the video below…
