Looks like Buddy and Ken had a soccer match last night. Buddy made a great save leaving Ken on the losing end…again.
Cookies and (Green) Milk Date Night
Measuring Up and Nutting Out
Christmas must be very close because last night Buddy was measuring our stockings. He’ll need the proper dimensions to help Santa plan for the big night!
We enjoyed a nice cool day at the Dallas Arboretum with a brief visit with Snow White, a glance at Dasher, and some fresh air and running around! One of our favorite stops was with these giant nutcrackers. We thought we would do an impersonation…whaddya think?
Packing Peanut Playtime
What? That was our reaction this morning (check it out below). There was quite a line at the slide last night. I guess everyone wanted in. Munchkin girl shouldn’t have gone head first. Yesterday, Dad showed us how to squish the packing peanuts. Mason showed Buddy in case he needs that skill in the North Pole after Christmas. We want to be sure he gets the most out of his time with us this season!
A Sweet and Fluffy Bath
This morning we found Buddy in the bathtub…well, in his own little elf bathtub filled with marshmallows and complete with a rubber ducky. It looked too delicious to us, so Mason decided we should be the “drain” and empty Buddy’s bath so he can go back to his perch on the piano. You can watch us drain the tub in the video below. Yummy!
Gone Fishin’
The Meaning of Christmas
The Grinch and Charlie Brown have different views on Christmas. Buddy must have known this because he called them together (along with their faithful pups) for a meeting of the minds and a little storytime. Charlie and Buddy shared the Charlie Brown Christmas Story with The Grinch and Max last night.
We know Buddy works hard each night to get to the North Pole and back in time to visit with his new friends and spread Christmas cheer. But somehow our first instinct upon finding Buddy each day is to dissassemble his gatherings. We’re careful not to touch Buddy (only moms and dads can touch elves – kids wipe the magic off). Check out our prompt dissassembly from this morning in the video below. Now if Mom and Dad could figure out how to get us to put all of our other stuff away so quickly…hmmm…
