Twinvasion of the South

This is it! The end of summer. We went out with a bang! We warned you relatives in South Texas that we would be coming for a visit. Mom loaded us up and headed down the highway. She was so excited to take us on this road trip that she passed a nice police officer in Milford, Texas. He must have wanted to know about our trip because he asked her to visit for a minute on the side of the road. The drive seemed a little slower after that…

We had loads of fun visiting with our family and friends. The drive didn’t seem too bad to us. We watched movies, emptied juice boxes, and took naps (at least when pesky police officers weren’t waking us up!). We got lots of fresh air and practically did laps in the pool. And the sand! We’d never seen sand before we played in Papa and Grammy’s sandbox…or had it in quite so many places. Who knew it could be so fun?!? And speaking of fun, we had a cousin convention like no other. We spent some quality time with cousins Heather and Ella, and Towne Olivia! It was good to finally meet those little girls! We have so many more cousins and relatives we didn’t get to check in on – we’ll have to make another trip!

It was a long trip home after having such a big time. We missed Dad (and between you and us, we think he missed us too – sleep and peace and quiet are overrated!). It was good to come home to Dad, Lola, Rocky, and our own beds again. We’ve got the traveling bug now though – we’re already looking forward to the next trip!

Check out our photos to see all the fun we had, and we’ve added a couple more videos showcasing some of our new talents.

Summer may be over, but fall is when it all happens! Birthdays, Halloween, and the Holiday Season! We never slow down!
