Ready for a road trip? Double Check!

April brought a road trip to South Texas. What fun we had! We started in San Antonio at Papa Donn and Grammie’s house. Boy did we get some good food and hugs and kisses there! We also got to meet our cousin Kendra and her family. She sure is cute! It must be in her genes. And Kendra has a baby sister on the way. We’ll be heading back soon to see her for sure. We played and ate and played some more. We can’t wait to go back and take a dip in the pool!

Then we headed for GiGi’s house where some more cousins, aunts, uncles and friends came to see us. The yummy food, kisses and hugs just kept coming and coming! Uncle Tom and Aunt Kelly went to the park with us, and Mason conquered the big slide while Morgan hunted for flowers. We got dolled up and went to GiGi’s church too so we could meet her friends. We ended up in a special room for kids who like to talk too loud in church, but we were not alone. Seems like it’s hard for lots of kids to be still in church.

We were sad to have to head home so quickly, but Mom and Dad tell us we will get to visit more often – just as soon as we can figure out how to sleep in the car for more than an hour at a time.

We also celebrated our half-birthday in April, which brought a trip to the baby doctor man. We passed all of our tests and only had to have one teeny tiny shot. Whew! We were glad to hear we don’t have any more of those for a while!

Mason weighed in at 26 lbs and 8 ozs and was 34.5 inches tall. Morgan was 23 lbs and 6 ozs and 32.75 inches tall. Our weight is just about the same as last time, but we’re growing taller. The doctor told Mom and Dad we’re likely to be “tall and lean.”

We’re getting excited about the nice weather and some trips to the pool this summer! But first we need to sign off and get a good night’s sleep so we can celebrate Mother’s Day tomorrow!
