Marching Into Spring – Two By Two Of Course…

About every other day for the last several weeks has been spring. The days in between seem to be winter, but we like to focus on the positive. So when it’s “spring,” we get to show our bare legs and head out to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.

We’ve had some fun with our basketball goal and playing soccer in the backyard. Mason yells “goal!!!” and chants “ball ball” quite frequently. Morgan likes to dance while she catches the bubbles from the bubble machine, and she enjoys terrorizing…or is it playing with…Lola.

When it’s not quite warm enough outside, we find some fun indoor activities. Like carrying old remote controls around the house, or going to fun places like Going Bonkers (a really cool giant jungle gym!).

One of our most fun adventures was Spring Fling. All the moms who had more than one baby at a time (Some of them had even three or four!!! Yikes!!!) got together and threw a party for us. We hunted for eggs, saw a real live bunny, petted a pony, and sat on a bench for a picture with a walking, talking bunny. Morgan’s favorite part was finding her kit kat bar and holding on tight to be sure no one tried to take it.

The next week, Mom and Dad told us the walking, talking bunny snuck in at night and left us a basket of goodies. Sounds pretty creepy to us, but the goody part was worth it. We also got to wear some pretty clothes and go to church to sing and dance with a bunch of other happy people. Well…we were the only ones dancing, but if the spirit moves you then you gotta dance. We wrapped the day up with some yummy lunch with the family. All in all, we’ve decided Easter is indeed happy.

Check out our latest pictures and twindependent flicks to see more of what we’re up to…or in to.
