On July 4, we thought it would be appropriate to not only celebrate America’s independence, but also our new twindependence! We are no longer stuck laying on the floor staring at the ceiling or on our cute bellies staring at a blanket. We can sit up big and proud nowadays! We also prefer to move around more than to be “captive” in our bouncy seats and rockers. We’re becoming more twindependent every day!
Mason thinks Mom should take up alligator wrestling. If she can change his diaper while he twists and turns on the changing table, then she can tackle any old alligator. And with Morgan’s new talent of clapping, Mom would have the cutest cheering section around.
Last month we helped Dad celebrate his first Father’s Day. We went to lunch, watched some soccer and went for a swim. We think Dad picked lots of fun things to do on his special day!
Of course, we had a steady flow of friends and family visit us to see how big we’re getting. With two-thirds of our first year behind us, we’re turning into real firecrackers!
Happy 4th of July to all of our loved ones! Stay cool!
