That’s right, April brought our half-birthday! It also brought some of those April showers we’ve heard about (we took cover with Mom and Dad when the sirens went off three different times!?!), and a visit to the baby doctor man and needle nurse ladies.
The baby doctor man said we are lookin’ good. We’re not sure why Mom and Dad had to pay for that information – we’ve known that all along! Mason is a whopping 17 pounds and Morgan is close behind at 16 pounds. We’re also just an inch apart with Mason at 27.5 and Morgan at 26.5. We had another round of shots, and you already know how we feel about that. Yuck! The doc gave Mom and Dad the a-ok to add more foods to our diets and sent us on our way.
So far, we’ve tried rice cereal, oatmeal, mixed grains, green beans, and sweet potatoes. We can’t wait to see what’s next. Each time it takes about two bites to figure out what mystery food Mom and Dad have slipped in, and to decide if we think we want more of it. So far, we’re not picky. The baby doctor man told Mom and Dad we would probably eat alot so we can grow big and tall like them.
We’ve been out and about more and we’re really enjoying the sunshine and our dogs. We also love to giggle when Dad gets us ready for our baths and when Mom makes up silly songs. We’ve decided this sleep stuff is pretty good. We don’t do much of it during the day, but our nights are pretty solid.
This month, we’re focused on trying new foods and enjoying the spring (storms not included!). Oh yeah, and helping Mom celebrate her very first Mother’s Day. We hear she’s been hoping for this for quite some time.
